Afzal Saahir is a prominent young Punjabi poet from a village named Pharrala situated in district Faisalabad. His ancestors came from District Hoshiarpur in Indian Punjab to settle in Faisalabad. His poems have a touch of tradition with a unique modern experience. He has published one book of poetry, it's titled Naal Sajjan De Rahiye.
