Hassan Rizvi

Syed Hassan Abbas Rizvi belonged to Ambala, a district now in Indian Punjab. He did his M.A in Urdu after which he acquired Ph.D. from Punjab University, Lahore. Professionally, he was a teacher and a journalist. Moreover, he also remained chairman of Urdu department of F.C college, Lahore. He did poetry in both Urdu and Punjabi languages and remained associated with T.V and radio as well. For his literary services, he was awarded presidential award by the Government of Pakistan.
