Munawar Ahmad Kanday is an expat Pakistani Punjabi poet who now resides in Telford, England. He originally belongs to Toba Tek Singh, Punjab. Professionally a doctor, he writes poetry both in Urdu and Punjabi languages. The poems on Folk Punjab are taken from his book "Peengh hulaare" which was published in 2006.
