Tauqeer Chughtai

Tauqeer Chughtai is a Punjabi writer, poet, journalist and columnist from Attock, Punjab. Born as Muhammad Mushtaq, he adopted Tauqeer Chughtai as his pen name. Chughtai is also an activist working towards the promotion of Punjabi language as he has remained associated with many Punjabi literary magazines and takes active part in convening sessions of Punjabi Adabi Sangat.
