Asif Shafi

Based in Qatar, Asif Shafi is a poet who writes in both Urdu and Punjabi languages. He is originally from Dharanawala, Dist. Bahawalnagar from where he acquired his early education. He graduated as an engineer from UET Lahore in 1997. Shafi's Punjabi poetry book "Piyar Sazawan" was published in 2000, the second edition of which has been published recently with some additions.
