Mushtaq Ahmad Kashfi

Mushtaq Ahmad Kashfi, a prominent Punjabi poet, hails from the modest village of 328 GB in Toba Tek Singh, born into a low-income family with a blacksmith father. Since early 80s, Kashfi has passionately championed labor and farmer rights, actively engaging in numerous rights movements and conferences. His poetry, resonating with themes of economic disparity and societal issues, reflects a commitment to addressing the challenges faced by the marginalized. An unwavering advocate for change, Kashfi has been associated with the NGO "Sangat" since 2008. His verses not only encapsulate a profound artistic expression but also serve as a powerful medium for advocating a world characterized by equality and social justice. Through his poetry and activism, Kashfi emerges as a compelling voice, urging a reimagining of societal structures for a more equitable and just future.
