Syed Tanveer Bukhari's real name was Faqeer Muhammad but he got literary acclaim as Tanveer Bukhari. He belongs to Kasur, Punjab Pakistan. All his lifetime he worked for the promotion of Punjabi language. Twenty three books of Punjabi poetry are on his credit.
