Ghulam Sabir Haideri
Ghulam Sabir Haideri was born in Kasur before partition. Just before partition, his father moved to Ferozpur, now in Indian Punjab, from where they had to migrate to Okara after the partition of Punjab. He got his early education from Okara. After matriculation, he started earning for his family. He is among the pioneers of Haideri Adab Qabeela of Okara. His book of Punjabi poetry "Palkan di parrchatti" was published in 2012 from where we have chosen some poems for our readers.
