Saghir Tabbasum
Saghir Tabessum is a Pakistani Punjabi poet who critiqued and highlighted prominent societal issues in his poetry, earning him popularity in both Pakistan and Indian Punjab. He was consistently honored with the Punjab Institute of Language Art and Culture (PILAC) award by the Government of Pakistan three times. Additionally, he received several prestigious Punjabi awards, including the 'Masaud Khaddar Posh Award,' 'Baba Farid Adbi Award,' 'Waris Shah International Award,' 'World Punjabi Forum Award,' and 'Pakbritish International Award,' among others. Saghir's notable works include 'Qaidi Sufne,' 'Jiundian Mardiyan Aasan,' 'Asan Chup Nahi Watni Dharti te,' 'Ek Khayal Sumndron Dongha,' 'Kounjan Wichran Waliyan ne,' and 'Wahgyon Aar Par.'
