Shah Muhmmad was a Punjabi poet who lived during the reign of Maharaja Ranjit Singh. He belonged to Amritsar Punjab. His claim to fame is Punjabi poetry book Jangnama in which he wrote the events of first Anglo-Sikh war in poetic verse after the death of Ranjit Singh.
