Professor Khushi Muhammad, also known by his pen names Sharab or Sharab Ansari, was a renowned Punjabi poet of the 20th century. He was born on May 20, 1937, in Amritsar and moved to Jhang after the Partition. He taught at Government College, Gojra. His notable works include 'Koi andron dar kharkawe' (1999), 'Baal Harran Di Agg' (1977), 'Panje mehal panjaan wich chanan' (1987), and 'Takht na milde mange' (1990). Some of his Kafi’s from 'Koi andron dar kharkawe' are available on Folk Punjab for readers.
