Manzoor Jhalla
Manzoor Hussain Jhalla was a popular song-writer of Punjab. His collected poems were painstakingly gathered and published by Hakeem Safdar Wamiq. Manzoor Jhalla was born and raised in Jandiala Guru, Amritsar in 1920s. When the turbulent partition of Punjab caused unrest, he relocated to Khudian in Kasur district. It was in Lahore, his new residence, where he ventured onto the cultural stage, sharing his captivating poetry and music with the world.
