1954 –
Noor Muhammad Noor is among the most prominent writers of Punjabi language. He belonged to Qila Rehmat Garh in malerkot, district Sangrur. He did his Masters in Punjabi from Punjab University, Patiala. His literary stature was also acknowledged in Pakistani Punjab in 2001 when he was awarded baba-e-Punjabi adabi and Lehran Adabi award from Lahore, Pakistan.
