Safdar Dogar

Safdar Dogar is a seasoned Punjabi poet who has been contributing in Punjabi poetry for over three decades now. Dogar belongs to Sacha Sauda Sheikhupura, Punjab Pakistan where his ancestors settled down after partition after they migrated from Amritsar. His family was the direct affectee of the bloodshed happened during the partition in which his grandfather and great grandfather were killed. His poetry is a reflection of all the hardships that his family went through during the partition. So far, three books of poetry have been published in his name.
